L.B. Houston, designed by Donald Kleinschmidt, opened for play in 1969. Located in the northwest sector of Dallas, south of Royal Lane and west of Luna Road, L. B. Houston is convenient to many golfers in the metroplex. The golf course is along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River and home to diverse plant and animal life.  L. B. challenges one's skills with tight fairways and large rolling greens framed with native trees and numerous lakes.
