Tenison Highlands offers 18 beautiful holes with a unique combination of elevation changes, water and sand. Built in a natural forest, the Highlands is located only 3 miles east of downtown Dallas on I-30.

This is the "new" old place to play in Dallas. Tenison Park, the first municipal golf course in Dallas, opened in 1924 on land donated by E. O. Tenison. In 2000, the venerable West course was redesigned by D. A. Weibring, Golf Resources, Inc. and renamed Tenison Highlands. With the addition of sand and water to the rolling hills and wooden terrain, the course is pleasing to the eye and even more enjoyable to play.
