Oak Hollow used to be the old McKinney Municipal 9-hole course, but it closed after 50 years to make room for the new 18-hole championship layout. This new layout opened in 1998 and was designed by Maury Miller. It featurs rolling terrain that routes around six manmade lakes and undulating greens.
